Meet the Team

Sai is a 19 year old graduate student at Columbia University. He is studying public health and is interested in healthcare innovation. Sai founded his own medtech company and he is currently training a lightning pose model for neuroscience while conducting BCI Research! Outside of school, he enjoys playing pickleball and tennis and trying new restaurants.

Maddy is a senior studying Psychology and Chemistry at Columbia College. She is involved with pediatric research at Columbia Medical Center’s Center for Early Relational Health and a volunteer at a clinic for uninsured patients when home in Baltimore, Maryland. She is also a member of the women’s lacrosse team, the student athlete advisory committee, and the student athlete pre-health society. When she's not studying, she enjoys hanging out with friends, listening to music, and reading. 

Kayla is a junior at Barnard College where she is studying English Literature. She is a research trainee at Mass General, doing genetics research focused on precision medicine. Kayla is also a staff illustrator for the Columbia University Undergraduate Medical Review and a pediatric endocrinology research intern at Mount Sinai. When she’s not studying, she loves to spend time with friends and family, go to SoulCycle classes, and try new cafes throughout NYC. 

Greg is a junior in CC studying biology. He also does research about insulin signaling and it’s relation to various metabolic diseases. When he's not studying, he loves to go hiking, backpacking, and sailing. 

Gavin is a sophomore at Columbia College (‘29), majoring in Biology. He works in a cancer lab studying prostate and testicular cancer. Gavin is the  events committee chair in AMSA and on the club soccer team at Columbia. He likes to spend time with friends, play sports, and watch movies in his free time!

Delaney is a junior at Barnard College studying biology on the cellular and molecular track. Outside of AMSA she is on the board of CoLab Performing Arts Collective and Mixed Heritage Society. She also currently works in the Center for Early Relational Health at Columbia Medical Center, researching early childhood attachment. During her free time she enjoys reading, running, and dancing. 

Christina is the outreach committee head of AMSA this year! She's a sophomore in CC, studying Biochemistry, and she's originally from Rockland, NY. She loves art and music, and she play the clarinet and the piano. Whenever Christina gets the chance, she likes to go the MET or try new restaurants!  

Charlie is a senior at Columbia College studying Biology and Art History! He is very interested in immunology and healthcare in urban environments. In his free time, he loves going to the MET, going on walks, and exploring new places in the city. 

Brynn is a senior at Columbia College (‘27), majoring in Biology. She works in a neuroscience lab, studying circadian rhythms using flies. Brynn is one of the Co-Presidents of AMSA, and she also is an EMT for CUEMS. Brynn volunteers with some clubs on campus and her local hospital at home in New Jersey. In her free time, she likes to read and go climbing!
